Fr Mark Schmieder was a active member of the Greater Cincinnati Voice of the Faithful and a steadfast advocate for justice and healing for those on the fringes of our society. He was an outspoken and courageous voice for the poor. He worked tirelessly until his death to promote a more open, transparent and accountable Church. He was committed in his efforts to bring about healing and justice for victims of abuse .
